Government high School (G.H.S) Limbe also called Lycee Classique de Limbe is a  a teaching/learning environment with a co-educational focus,accepting both boys and girls from all over the Republic of Cameroon and from the rest of the world.It is located to the north west of Limbe along the high way that runs fromm Buea to Idenau. G.H.S Limbe is about 3km from the Limbe city centre.

G.H.S Limbe was created by a ministerial degree of October 1975. The school opened with a student population os 106 with 64 boys and 42 girls in November 1975 in old PWD stories in Mbonjo Downbeach Limbe.

Our services include, training the minds of children between the ages of 12 to 22years in general education. Some of the subjucts taught include: English Language, French Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Philosophy, Literature, Economics, Geography, Additional mathematics, Human Biology, Food and Nutrition and Citizenship. We train and prepare students for the Ordinary and Advanced Level CErtificate of the Cameroon General Certificate of Education and equally issue transcripts and school attestations which helps students to be admitted in higher institutions of learning

In the last three years we have always had a student in the National honour Roll.
